Job Title:
Broadband Network Solution I&V Engineer
Job Objective:
To be responsible to perform Optical & IP network with multi-access network end to end solution testing, to ensure the integrated overall network quality for customer and product.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate hardware and software of different nodes for Optical and IP transport network with multi-access network and management System
- Design optical and IP network end to end test solution
- Design and perform integration test, function test and performance test, debug nodes and system issues, verify compliance of interfaces and features in end to end system.
- Work closely with product development and design organization to verify the solutions, analyze and report the bugs and fix problems.
- Drive quick resolution of the problems by coordinating the tests with hardware and software engineers and system design.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master degree in Optical, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecom, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge in communications system and transmission system.
- Knowledge of IP and ethernet network
- Knowledge of Optical network
- Experience of broadband network system technology and protocols in one or more of the following areas is required: xPON, MPLS, xDSL, Routing, VoIP, IPTV, TCP/IP, VPN, L2/L3 Ethernet, MPBN, 2G or 3G packet data core network.
- Experience with the following equipment is preferred: IXIA, AXN, N2X, IP debugging tools.
- Certificate of Cisco, Juniper, and HuaWei Datacom products is a plus.
- Experience of Switch or Router provisioning is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic UNIX operation is required.
- Strong self-initiative attitude with "Can do" spirit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Strong teamwork skills.
